Instructions for Downloading the iPrint Software
The iPrint software is only downloaded and installed once. Clicking on a printer link on the My Printers page will check if the client is installed. If it is not, you will be presented with the option to install the client.
Installation for Windows
- Click here to download and execute the iPrint Client for Windows (nipp.exe).
- Click "Next" on the installation prompt. The install process will then begin.
- After the software installation completes, click "Finish".
- You must close and re-open your web browser in order to complete the installation.
System Requirements for Windows
- Windows 95/98/ME or Windows NT/2000/XP Professional.
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or later or Mozilla-based Web browser. Javascript should be enabled.
Installation for Mac OS 10.2+
- Click here to download the iPrint Client for MacOS X (iprint.dmg).
- Open the disk image and run iPrint.pkg.
- Follow the prompts to install the client.
- Click "Close" when the installer finishes.
- You must close and re-open your web browser in order to complete the installation.
System Requirements for MacOS
- MacOS 10.2 or later
- Firefox 1.0.x or Safari Browser 1
Installation for Linux
- Click here to download the iPrint client for Linux.
- Double-click on the RPM to begin the installation.
- You must close and re-open your web browser in order to complete the installation.
System Requirements for Linux
- Novell Linux Desktop or SUSE 9.2 Professional (i586)
- An RPM manager software installed.
- A Mozilla-based browser such as Epiphany, Firefox, or Galeon
- You must have root access to install the client
